The high-pressure hot water spray system according to the invention comprises a water piping and a high-pressure pump for creating a pressure of 2 to 25 MPa in the water piping, and supply means for spraying water as a droplet spray or steam. The system further includes at least one post-high pressure water heater through which the water piping passes to destroy viruses and bacteria in the water, such as legionella.
